About Me

My name is Todd Horn, I am a senior at Purdue University dual majoring in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Aeronautical Engineering Technology (AET). I came to Purdue originally for  professional flight but decided my freshman year that professional flight wasn't for me. I picked up the UAS major after my first semester of college after taking the initial drone classes and really enjoying working on unmanned systems. After taking a couple AET classes for electives, I then decided to pick up the dual major my junior year. The hands on experience with different types engines, air frames, and composite materials interested me. I have always enjoyed working with my hands and learning from experience. The biggest interest I have in both UAS and AET is military technology. Military technology has always had me fascinated since I was young and being able to pursue that motivates me. After I have graduated from Purdue, I plan on landing a job for systems testing/design for UAS.
